[SPECIAL ENTRY] my EXAM essay ;D...

How could I have been so blind...? How could I have been so heartless...? How could I have been so dumb...? She cared for me. She made me feel warm inside. She liked the way I look. She liked the way I talk. She... loves me... Serena! Serena! Wake up, Serena! Don’t leave me alone like this! Serena! I love you...! Weeks had passed since I lost the girl of my dream. I could still hear her voice, playing in my ears. I could still feel her breath, caressing through my face. I could still feel her lips, pressing to mine. She was kind, heart-warming and as beautiful as an angel. She always greets me at school, comforts me in class and makes me feel calm. Her smile melted my cold heart. But, I didn’t notice any of it at all. She continued and repeated the routine since the day we met.
It was the end of fall and it was raining cats and dogs. The school yards were almost filled with the white snow. I was still wondering outside of the class. It was music class and Miss Blair was teaching some of the guitar chords. Miss Blair had known me for a long time and she knew I was a guitarist. Because of that, she let me do my own work. As I was drifting to space, a knock was heard from the classroom door. Standing there was the principal, Mr. Dan Humphrey, and beside him was the girl, Serena. The principal let Serena in and left the rest for Miss Blair. She was given a piece of paper from the principal and stated there was the girl’s name. I was still wondering outside, thinking about my life. As I was still busy, the girl spotted me. She stared at me, admiring my figure. Then, she was startled by the teacher.
“Okay class, this is Serena van Der Woodsen and she’s a new student from this school.” stated Miss Blair.
“Nice to meet you.” said Serena as she bowed down.
The other guys were admiring her beauty, especially my best friend, Nate Archibald. Nate was a jock and quite popular in the school for his looks and muscles. We were friends since kindergarten and still friends till now. We both are like magnets. Cannot be separated. He always comes to my house to play football and basketball. I was the captain of my school’s basketball club because of my looks and height while Nate was the captain of my school’s football club because of his body and strength.
“Dude, check that girl out!” said Nate as he slightly punched my left arm, causing me to hit my head on the table.
“Hey man! That hurts!” I said as I punched him back. He rubbed the area that I punched a laughed.
“Sorry. Look there.” he said. I observed the slim figure as she walked to her seat.
“So?” I said. I got punched again but this time, it’s harder.
“Dude, she’s totally hot and sexy! I wish I could have her.” said Nate as he took a peek at her face.
“Go on. Nobody’s gonna stop you.” I said. Then, I drifted again through space.
“You’re weird.” said Nate as he got near to the new girl.
“As I’ve been told.” as I said to myself.
The bell rang and it was time for recess. I was still wondering around and suddenly a girl interrupted me.
“Hi, I’m Serena. You must be John.” she said as she introduced herself.
“H... How do you know my name?” I asked.
“The girls behind me was talking about how handsome you are.” she said as she giggled.
“Oh. Hi. Nice to meet you.” I said with an embarrass face.
Since then, we started to hang out. We went lunch together and played guitars at my house. As I said, she always cared for me. But as smart as I look, I didn’t even noticed it. Even Nate told me that she had a crush on me but I didn’t believe it.
Until one day, we were hanging out at my studio with Nate and Chuck. Chuck was the bass player in my band while Nate was the drummer. I was the guitarist while Serena joined the group as a vocalist. It was half past ten and it’s time to go home. Serena’s house was miles from mine so I had to send her myself.
In the car, it felt awkward. The sudden silence made me shivered to my spine. But suddenly, a mysterious creature passed in front of my car and made me panic. The car was out of control and finally, into the bushes. My head was bleeding while Serena was badly hurt. I dragged her out of the car and held her in my arms. I could still feel her breath, caressing my face.
“I love you.” she said to me as she holding her breath.
My tears fell to her cheeks and she blew her last breath. I cried and shouted loudly. I regretted to not believing what Nate had said. I kissed her goodbye.
