wow! it's been so long since I updated my blog last year! oh my...?! a new year already xD hehe~ late wishes are better than no wishing at all (: so, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I had just finished my public exam, SPM and I am currently in a 6-months holiday! weee~ although I miss all my friends and teachers at school, I would spend all my free time to watch some Korean dramas. I already watched Heartstrings and You're Beautiful, and oh my gosh, I love Heartstrings more! the characters are Lee Shin and Lee Gyu Won, both played by Jung Yong Hwa from C.N.BLUE and Park Shin Hye respectively. both of them are awesome actor and actress! Yong Hwa, suited for his 'image' which is 'emotional', his acting could put the viewers to tears. his charms and coolness could melt the people who is watching this drama. he played as the most popular guy in school and almost all girls was in love with him. although many confesses, but he rejected all of them as he was in love with the Dance Professor of the university. his one-way-love has finally ended as the professor was in love with her ex-boyfriend who was a Broadway director. because of a misunderstanding between the Applied Music Department and Traditional Music Department, The Stupid (Lee Shin's band) and Windflower (Gyu Won's band) was battling to see who was better than the other. because of the unfortunate accident of the Windflower, they had lost and had to keep their promises. this promises had made Gyu Won little by little falling in love with Lee Shin. little that he know, Lee Shin was also falling in love with Gyu Won. the break-up of him with the Dance Professor had made a new connection between him and Gyu Won. every night, Lee Shin worked as a performer in a bar called Catharsis and because of Gyu Won's best friend, she had to come with her to see the performance. Lee Shin's coolness and charms whilst playing the guitar had made Gyu Won falling for him more. while Gyu Won's competitive and and brightness features had made Lee Shin falling for her as well. the university was holding a musical called Centennial Performance and it was directed by the Broadway director. the director witness some raw talents in Gyu Won, other than playing the traditional instrument called the gayageum and asked her to participate in the musical. because of her grandfather's hatred towards Western music, she barely got his permission. Lee Shin, on the other hand was asked to compose the ending song of the musical and to cooperate with the Traditional Music Department to make the song. Lee Shin and Gyu Won both were the presidents of the department had to cooperate with each other and this will strengthen the bonds between them. during the audition for the lead actress, Gyu Won had to face the only competitor, which is the daughter of the chairman of the university. finally, Gyu Won won, but her kindness had gave the role to the chairman's daughter. because of the unexpected condition of the chairman's daughter, the chairman's wife called off the musical. this had upset the students and made the director to resign. but the students had an idea and the director was back again. they made their own musical with their own budget and it was a success. because of Gyu Won's charming voice, she was proposed to sign a contract and their relationship (Lee Shin's and Gyu Won's) was just getting better, they had to break up because of some accidents that had cause Lee Shin to have a surgery. this break-up was to make sure that Gyu Won accepted the offer. a year had passed, Lee Shin was getting better and Gyu Won was a famous actress. Gyu Won had came back to Korea but their relationship was still at the end of a needle. will they be back together again? you guys have to see for yourselves (: below are posters from Heartstrings and You're Beautiful
